Cops For Kids look to arrest Cranbrook citizens

Have you ever wanted a day in the office without your boss looking over your shoulder? What about that co-worker who just won’t stop talking long enough to let you get your work done? Or that customer who just likes to ‘hang out’ while you’re working? The Cranbrook RCMP has an option for you for a day!

On Wednesday, September 13, the Cops for Kids Tour is coming to Cranbrook and is looking to raise money through a Jail and Bail. Cops for Kids is made up of dedicated RCMP officers and personnel from the South East District. Our charitable foundation was formed in 2001 and since inception we have worked tirelessly to raise funds to support children in need in the communities that we serve.

The Tamarack Centre is once again spearheading a Jail and Bail to raise money for this great cause. Last year’s event raised over $10,000 to help kids in the Cranbrook area who might need assistance with medical equipment, surgeries, or any other items which could help improve the quality of life of these youngsters.

Cops for Kids is looking for individuals or businesses to help out with this fundraiser. If you are wishing to participate we ask that you contact Linda Birch at the Tamarack Centre for more information. [email protected] or 250-426-2231.
