Cranbrook Chamber welcomes new Executive Director

The Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Stacey Brensrud as the new Executive Director.

Brensrud has been serving as the Interim Executive Director since July and brings previous experience as the Executive Director of the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce.

“Stacey has navigated some big undertakings for our chamber over the past four months and has demonstrated the leadership qualities that will greatly benefit our members and community as the Executive Director for Cranbrook’s Chamber.

“The Board of Directors is looking forward to continuing their work with her as we look to the future of making a difference for our business community,” said Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce President Keri Sanderman.

Brensrud brings to Cranbrook a diverse background in small business, governance, advocacy and non-profit societies.

“During my time in Cranbrook as the Interim Executive Director, I have observed a keen passion for this community from business owners, local government and volunteers. People really care about Cranbrook, and I see many opportunities for impactful work through the Chamber.

“I am looking forward to working with the Board of Directors as a team, always looking through the lens of what’s best for business in Cranbrook. I’m grateful for this opportunity to make a difference for our members, and I’m eager to connect with the membership as I forge ahead into this role,” she said.
