Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services’ A-Shift attended to two structure fires in as many days this Canada Day long weekend.

Both fires were knocked down with solid firefighting tactics, limiting damage to the structures, Cranbrook Professional Fire Fighters Local 1253 reported on social media this morning (July 3).

Firefighters report there were no injuries at either fire.

“Thanks to our partner agencies at RCMP, Hydro, Fortis and (City of Cranbrook) Public Works,” the firefighters stated.
