Cranbrook Library hosts first ever stuffie sleepover
CPL Summer Reading Club held a sleepover for 36 stuffies on August 13 after the stuffies attended movie night with their owners at the Cranbrook Public Library.
“We had kids kissing them goodbye and saying goodnight. We had lots of kids who told us they brought “secondary” stuffies because their other ones were too important,” said CPL Summer Reading Club Coordinator Kenzie Fulton.
After the kids left the stuffies ruled the library, they stole staff food from the fridge, laid down some sick beats in the recording booth, climbed the books shelves, had a fun story time and much more!
“It was super cute to see how excited the kids (and the stuffies) were to see each other the next day when they picked up their booklet of all the fun their stuffies had while sleeping over in the library!”
Summer Reading Club 2024 closing ceremonies will be held August 23 and 24.
There are four different time slots available 11 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-2 p.m. for both days.
