The Lions Club of Cranbrook helped the teachers of Amy Woodland Elementary School get their fundraiser BBQ off to a roaring start on Saturday, August 24.

The local service club donated $3,000 to the teachers who lost a lot of personal items in the fire that happened back on June 30.

With the new school year ready to start, these teachers will be out shopping for those little items that make their classrooms so inviting, creative and safe.
