Cranbrook RCMP is investigating after a body was found near a walking trail this morning.

On October 3, shortly after 8 a.m., Cranbrook RCMP responded to a report of deceased male on a walking trail near Kinsman Park.

“Investigators attended the scene to the east of Victoria Ave and deemed the death suspicious.  Police are requesting the public avoid the area and ask anyone who travelled the walking trails earlier this morning to call 250-489-3471,” asked S/Sgt Barry Graham, Cranbrook RCMP Detachment commander.
