Cranbrook RCMP Report

The following is a synopsis of calls reported to Cranbrook RCMP for the period between 12 a.m. Jan. 14 to Jan. 27, at 12 p.m. (Note two week period.)

Calls for Service: 277

Two impaired driving: Two 90-day Immediate Roadside Prohibitions.

Four collisions in the city: Including a hit and run with parked vehicle and a couple of other hit and runs.

12 collisions outside the city: Including two with minor injuries and one hit and run.

16 driving complaints (five in the city, 11 outside.)

Nine assaults: Five domestic in nature.

14 thefts: including seven shoplifting; four thefts from autos.

One robbery: Two unknown male suspects stole a wallet from an individual and pushed him to the ground.

Eight mischief to property.

19 false alarms and false 911 calls.
