Dryden Hunt signs with the New York Rangers
Cranbrook resident Dryden Hunt is heading to the Big Apple.
The Hockey News reports the National Hockey League’s New York Rangers have signed the 26-year-old left winger to a two-year deal valued at $762,500 a year.
Speedy and tenacious, Hunt had three goals and five assists in 25 games with the Arizona Coyotes last season, also spending time on their taxi squad.
Before Arizona, Hunt, spent three seasons with the Florida Panthers, compiling three goals, 15 assists and 34 penalty minutes in 63 games, after signing as a free agent in 2016.
