Flight out of CRIA in landing incident at Calgary

The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) is deploying a team of investigators to a landing incident that occurred at about 8 p.m. last night involving an Air Georgian Ltd. aircraft originating out of Canadian Rockies International Airport (CRIA) operating as an Air Canada Express flight at the Calgary International Airport.

The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence, it said.

The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.

TSB did not release any details as to any injuries to passengers or crew of the flight.
