Happy 100th birthday to the Rotary Club of Cranbrook
The Rotary Club of Cranbrook was chartered 100 years ago yesterday.
Cranbrook was the smallest Rotary community in the world in 1922 and was the 233rd club created. Today there are 35,000 Rotary Clubs in the world.
āOne hundred years later, we are going strong with 74 members; our average age is going down, and we are more active than ever. We provide affordable seniorās housing through our Rotary Scott Villa, build trails and playgrounds in our community and provide financial assistance to dozens of charitable causes in Cranbrook,ā the club noted in a luncheon invitation.
