High national ranking for Elizabeth Lake Lodge
A Cranbrook accommodation business has been ranked by TripAdvisor as the second top small hotel in Canada.
TripAdvisor recently released the winners for its 2018 Travellers’ Choice Awards and Elizabeth Lake Lodge was recognized in the Small Hotel category finishing number two in the country. It also finished in the top 10 in the ‘Best Service category.’
The awards are issued in a 109 countries. In Canada, TripAdvisor collects reviews for over 5,000 properties, with eight categories considered and if a property finishes in the top 25 in any category they are recognized.
“It is a thrill to be associated with the other hotels that have been recognized. Many of which I have admired during my earlier days of working in Vancouver hotels. Our family this year is continuing a tradition of staying at a few of them over spring break to try and gauge what makes them successful,” said lodge co-owner George Freitag.
