The Sam Steele Days Parade is easily the largest of its kind in the East Kootenay.

And it’s going to get a wee bit longer this year as the Kiddies’ Day Parade is being added to lead the Grand Parade.

Line up is at 9:30 a.m. June 15 on 9th Avenue by The Choice.

The parade will proceed west on Baker Street down to 11th Avenue and will disperse at the parking lot on the corner of 11th Avenue and Baker Street.

Participation is freefor all ages!

Wear your favourite costume and decorate your bike, or dress up your pet or Teddy bear!

This is a chance for the kids to get involved in the community’s celebration.
