Cranbrook RCMP reported Feb. 17 they are beginning to receive reports of overnight thefts in the Highlands area and request residents in that area check their surroundings, including vehicles, for potential loss.

Whether victim of theft or not, anyone with security camera footage of suspicious people in the area are asked to contact police.

The offences reported so far appear to have occurred between 4 and 6 a.m.

Cranbrook RCMP would also like to ask anyone with information regarding these or other offences to call the non-emergency line at 250-489-3471.
