During the early morning hours of Sunday, Cranbrook RCMP was called by a complainant who interrupted a theft from vehicles.

Cranbrook RCMP, Police Dog Service and East Kootenay Traffic Services officers responded and pursued the suspects for a lengthy amount time resulting in arrests of two male youths.

“The youths were in possession of stolen property, drugs and are candidates for Restorative Justice in cooperation with their parents,” reported S/Sgt. Hector Lee, Cranbrook RCMP Detachment commander.
