Metis youth training program supports BC SPCA
A wonderful donation of two doghouses and $400 (from the sale of two other doghouses) was presented to the BC SPCA East Kootenay Branch on behalf of School District No. 5 Aboriginal Secondary Students.
The 12 students are participating in the Metis Youth Industry Training Program at College of the Rockies. This program is sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Metis Association, The Elk Valley Metis Association, Metis Nation BC, and Metis Youth Industry Training.
