Kootenay East MLA Tom Shypitka is hosting a presentation on the history of the Columbia River Treaty on Wednesday, November 14 at the Heritage Inn in Cranbrook.

Doors open at 5:30 with the event running from 6 – 8 p.m.

ʔaq̓am Chief Joe Pierre and Ellen Delehanty Pearkes author of ‘A River Captured: the Columbia River Treaty & Catastrophic Change’ will be making presentations.

There will be a question and answer period to follow.
