Peak Family Dental supports MRI campaign
Peak Family Dental is partnering with East Kootenay Foundation for Health this holiday season to support the MRI: An Image of Health Campaign to bring a permanent MRI to the East Kootenay. From now until the end of the year Peak Family Dental will donate $50 per new patient exam to the MRI: An Image of Health Campaign.
Currently the East Kootenay region has access to the Mobile MRI unit for one week per month, sharing this unit with Trail and Penticton. The limited access to the Mobile unit has meant long wait times and in many instances patient travel outside the region to access MRI services in Kelowna or Calgary.
Dr. John Nesbitt, Peak Family Dental said, “We chose to support the MRI: An Image of Health Campaign because the new MRI will have such a tremendous impact on healthcare for so many people throughout the East Kootenay.”
“Donations to the MRI: An Image of Health Campaign from Nov. 1 until Dec. 31 also support our holiday Starlite campaign to light a star on top the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. We encourage everyone to visit the Peak Family Dental Clinic (103 – 117 Cranbrook St. N., Cranbrook, B.C. V1C 3P8, Phone: 250-426-3422) for a New Patient Exam and help light a star towards the MRI,” said Cassandra Schwarz, EKFH Executive Director.
To light a large star is $5,000 and a small star is $2,500. All donations of every size make a huge difference and will accumulate to light a “community star” to help us reach our goal.
To make your holiday starlite gift to the MRI please contact the EKFH office at 1-877-489-6481 or donate online at ekfh.ca.
