Red Spot Campaign volunteers April 6 dropped of an overflowing Toyota Tacoma to School District No. 5 (SD5).

The volunteers were met by school principals and district employees alike, who helped unload the roughly $2,500 worth of feminine hygiene products to be distributed to SD5 schools.

The effort was part of the month-long Red Spot Campaign undertaken by Alpine Toyota and JCI Kootenay.

“JCI Kootenay and the Red Spot committee would like to send our most heartfelt thank you to our headline sponsor Alpine Toyota, our major donors Dr. Burwash from Baker Hill Dental and Shane from Save-on-Foods and all of the community for their donations and support. Because of all of them we were able to achieve such overwhelming results. We look forward to seeing what we can do next year for the Red Spot Campaign,” stated Devon Twarowski, Red Spot Campaign Chair and JCI Kootenay member.
