Resurfacing work begins August 21 in Cranbrook

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and its contractor Okanagan Aggregates Limited (OAL) will be starting a Highway 3 resurfacing project through Cranbrook between JimSmith Lake Road and the Fort Steele Overhead Bridge at Denham Ford starting Wednesday, August 21 until the end of September 2024.

Most of the work will be happening during the night to reduce the impact to traffic and businesses, however some delays and lane reductions can be expected. Traffic control personnel will also be on site.

The City of Cranbrook encourages residents and visitors to monitor Drive BC for updates on traffic and any closures.

If you have questions about the project, please contact the Ministry or OAL directly.
