Mark your calendars – the Rotary Club of Cranbrook Sunrise’s Rockies Film Festival & Series’ first film of the season is Wednesday, October 9 at 7 p.m.,

The season begins with a must-see film – Wild Rose.

This British-made film tells the complicated story of Rose-Lynn, a woman on a quest to become a country music star. Rolling Stones magazine touted it as a “Ballad of a Honky-Tonk woman; the story of a Scottish single mother who dreams of country-music glory is fuelled by one knockout performance!”

Tickets are available at Key City Theatre and can be purchased online or in person.

Please also note the dates for the Rotary Club’s Fall Film Festival are November 21- 23.

Organizers say they thought they would change it up this year and move the festival to the fall.
