Sam Steele Days doesn’t officially begin until Thursday, June 16, but the fun was launched June 9 at a kick off party held at The Heid Out Restaurant and Brewhouse.

The popular downtown Cranbrook restaurant and lounge trotted out Sam’s Ale, a tasty beverage created especially for this year’s Sam Steele Days.

The event also launched the sale of Sam Steele Days buttons.

For the easy price of $2 each, Sam Steele Days buttons provide you with a full Sam Steele Days experience and this year you have a chance to win amazing prizes like;

Sam Steele Days runs June 16-19.

Things get flipping Thursday, June 16 with the Tamarack Centre Kick Off Pancake breakfast, from 8 to 11 a.m.
