JCI Kootenay is proud to announce that the proceeds from this year’s Santa Claus Parade, taking place on November 30, at 5:30 p.m., will be donated to the Cranbrook Food Bank.

The initiative reflects JCI’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting those in need during the holiday season.

The Santa Claus Parade, a beloved annual tradition, brings families and friends together to celebrate the magic of the holidays. This year, it holds even greater significance as participants will not only be a part of a joyful event but also contribute to a cause that directly impacts local families.

“At JCI, we believe in the power of community,” said Rebecca Odnokon, Santa Parade Organizing Committee Chair. “This holiday season, we wanted to make a meaningful difference by supporting the food bank in their mission to ensure no one in our community goes hungry.”

The food bank plays a crucial role in helping individuals and families access essential resources, especially during the winter months when demand is highest. Donations like this allow the organization to provide more meals and services to those who need it most.
