Sunrise Rotary donates last of online Bingo funds to EKFH

The Rotary Club of Cranbrook Sunrise has donated $5,000 more towards East Kootenay Foundation for Health (EKFH)’s Warm Embrace campaign.

The funds came from their portion from the remaining pool of lottery funds as the province wide Rotary Community Online Bingo wrapped up. The donation will help bring a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

Sunrise Rotary has donated close to $40,000 to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s campaigns over the years. EKFH is grateful for their unwavering support and dedication to giving back to our community.

EKFH Executive Director Brenna Baker says, “the Sunrise Rotary club is such an important organization to our entire community. Besides regularly giving to the Foundation for our numerous projects, they support many initiatives throughout the City of Cranbrook and beyond.”
