Sweet Dreams hitting Key City Theatre Oct. 1
October is Community Living Month in B.C. and Realm, a local service provider, has been celebrating by offering a theatrical production since 2011.
This has been their way to share the concepts of the ‘community living movement’ by offering the message through the showcasing of talents of diverse individuals.
The theme of the production is encased in messages that the movement strives to encourage, allowing the interaction of the participants both acting in and attending to hear the message through artistic expressions.
Sweet Dreams is celebration of personal development, social inclusion, self-determination, rights and relationships. Although these themes are poignant, you won’t be attending a lecture but rather an experience full of fun, whimsy and intensity that will leave you feeling the impact of the possibility that is inclusion.
The production is a creation of the Realm Team, which uses the themes of the movement to derive the story lines, which then become part of a team approach to develop, design, and deliver! In addition to the theatrics, check out the art exhibit a well. Artwork and photos are exploring the theme of ‘Reflections of Life Lessons.’
The exhibit begins September 20 and runs until Oct. 5. Both the exhibit and the Production will be at the Key City Theatre.
The drama will be running high one night only, October 1. Tickets are $15, children 12 and under are free.
Please purchase tickets directly from the Key City Theatre but for more information please feel free to contact REALM 250-426-3393, [email protected] or facebook.com/REALM.Cranbrook .
