Warm weather forces closure of Idlewild rink
The City of Cranbrook announced this morning (Jan. 25) it is closing all public access to the skating rink on Idlewild Lake until further notice due to the ongoing warm weather.
“The safety of the public and our user groups is paramount, as the risk of falling through the ice is quite high. We appreciate your understanding,” the city noted.
