Water flushing set for Kootenay Orchards and Park Royal areas
City of Cranbrook water crews will be set up in two different areas of Cranbrook starting today as part of its annual water flushing program.
One crew will be working in the south end of the city, north of Kootenay Orchard to the top of 14th Avenue South (pictured right).
The second crew will be in the north end of Park Royal (pictured below). Flushing will be happening in these areas for the next few days.
“You may notice cloudy water and lower water pressure for a brief time after the flushing is done. It is important to know that this discolouration is not a public health concern. If you find your water is cloudy, please simply run your cold-water tap until the water runs clear,” the city advises.
