The eighth annual McDonald’s Wild Fire Basketball Challenge between the Mount Baker Wild Girls basketball team and the Cranbrook Fire Department took place on Thursday, April 4.

The Cranbrook McDonald’s Restaurant donated $500 to the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund and a total of $906 was raised through donations and a charity barbecue.

For the eighth year in a row, the girls managed to hold onto victory with a final score of 57-51.
