Camp Odyssey still has some space
“Can we make boats again? That was my favourite part last year!” Was the plea from E. one of Camp Odysseys’ long-time, regular participants.
E., like many of the campers, is full of ideas to share with the other kids as they spend their days bonding together at summer camp
New friends, new activities, and new parts of the forest to investigate are just some of the things kids look forward to at Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook’s nature-based day camp, Camp Odyssey.
The summer program offers weeklong and single-day camps in both Kimberley and Cranbrook for two age groups: five to eight-year-old Nearby Naturalists and seven to 12-year-old Happy Hikers.
It is a great opportunity to encourage children to explore in a safe, structured, and fun environment.
“There’s nothing quite like being outside all day to calm your mind, feel grounded, and use up some energy!” noted Camp Leader Kim Urbaniak “With a great mix of instructor-led activities and free play, Camp Odyssey has all this and more to offer your children this coming summer.”
Camp information, such as dates, times, locations, and pricing, can be found online at wildsight.ca/camp. And it is important to note, the full-week discount will make way for single-day registrations on Friday, June 23.
