The YES Camp at Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island is an amazing life-changing experience for teens ages 14 to 18, and once again Kootenay Savings wants to sponsor four Kootenay teens to attend the camp for an action-packed week of fun, learning and leadership.

Focusing on co-operation, communication, leadership, and self-esteem, participants come home with a new perspective, new skills and the confidence to be a leader in their communities.  With tons of fun games, events and activities – including canoeing, hiking, swimming, talent shows, ultimate Frisbee, and arts and crafts – campers are sure to make friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

Please share this information with any youth (and their parents) who you think may be interested and encourage them to complete and submit a sponsorship application.

The deadline to apply for sponsorship is April 30.

• Sponsorship includes full $675 camp fee and bus transportation from Kelowna to Lake Cowichan. Campers are responsible for $35 BC Ferries passenger fee.
