Deceleration lane construction to slow highway near border

Construction to build a deceleration lane along Highway 93 will begin at Grasmere, 10 km north of the Rooseville Border, on Wednesday, September 11.

The project will require single lane alternating traffic with minor delays. Time of work will be 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. and expected to finish October 11, Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting reported.
