Dynamic Ingram top KIJHL forward for third time
Keenan Ingram (Columbia Valley Rockies), Levi Hall (Golden Rockets) and Ethan Floris (Osoyoos Coyotes) have been selected as the Instat KIJHL 3 Stars of the Week for the period ending Jan. 22.
Keenan Ingram – Top Forward
The Calgary, Alberta product had six goals and two assists in three games to help the Rockies win their three games last week. Ingram opened the scoring and had two goals in a 7-4 win over Creston Valley. He netted the overtime winner against the Kimberley Dynamiters in a 3-2 final and enjoyed a five-point performance that included a hat-trick and the game-winner against Creston Valley. Ingram is fourth in the KIJHL with 59 points in 33 games and leads all rookies in points. This is the third time that Ingram has been selected as the Top Forward this season.
Levi Hall – Top Goalie
The Stony Plain, Alberta product earned two wins for the Rockets last week. Hall stopped 39 of 42 shots against the Creston Valley Thunder Cats in a 4-3 win, then turned aside 31 of 32 shots in a 2-1 win over the Golden Rockets. In the two games combined, Hall had a 2.00 GAA and a .946 SP. Hall has 16 wins in 29 games with a 3.34 GAA and a .917 SP. Hall’s 16 wins has him tied for the league lead. It’s the second time that Hall has been named the Top Goalie.
Ethan Floris – Top Defenceman
The Vanderhoof product collected four assists in two games, helping the Coyotes win both their games last week. Floris had two assists against the Kelowna Chiefs, including on their 3-1 goal en route to a 7-4 win. In their 5-0 win against the Summerland Steam, Floris had another two assist game and assisted on the goal to give the Coyotes a 3-0 lead. Floris is seventh on the Coyotes in points with 19 points in 33 games.
