EKFH announces new executive director

The Board of Directors of East Kootenay Foundation for Health (EKFH) is pleased to announce Brenna Baker (pictured) has been named the new Executive Director, effective June 4.

Brenna brings a wealth of experience to her new role.  She has spent the last four years directing the programs and overseeing the staff, the volunteers and overall operations of the BC SPCA in Cranbrook.

The Board of Directors conducted an executive search over the past few months, which generated numerous applicants.

“After an extensive interview process with a number of qualified candidates, the Board was unanimous in the selection of Brenna.  Her previous experience and knowledge of the work of non-profits and understanding of our organization made her the ideal choice to take EKFH to the next level,” said Wes Rogers, EKFH Board Chair.

EKFH’s mission continues to provide funding for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital and other community facilities in complementing the health care needs of the region.
