Fire reported near Old Town
BC Wildfire Service this afternoon (July 21) reports there is a small wildfire about three km southeast of Old Town in the Perry Creek drainage, about 14 km west of Cranbrook.
The fire, believed to be person-caused, is estimated at about one-tenth of a hectare.
