Four in custody after truck theft incident in Moyie

Cranbrook RCMP reported late this morning they currently have four people in custody with regards to the truck theft incident.
“Investigation is ongoing and I can update better later,” reported Cst. Katie Forgeron.

Early this morning (Nov. 28) Cranbrook RCMP was notified of a theft of a vehicle. The vehicle, a white 2022 F350 B.C. Plate SW0307 was taken from a residence in Moyie.
“RCMP members are currently on scene in the Moyie area after the vehicle was located and (the occupants) fled police,” said Cst. Katie Forgeron. “The vehicle was again located and two suspects, a male and female, fled from the vehicle.”
Police are still in the Bark Shanty area near Moyie. Anyone who sees suspicious persons or vehicles in that area is asked to call 911.
Anyone who might have information with regard to this incident is asked to contact the local office at 250-489-3471. The public is also advised they can remain completely anonymous by calling a tip into Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
