Heads up to drivers about Gran Fondo on Sept. 9
On Saturday, September 9, about 400 cyclists will be participating in the Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo.
That means a lot of cyclists on area roads and highways.
The race routes are near St Eugene Golf Resort and Casino, the Kimberley Platzl, Ta Ta Creek, Wasa Lake, Fort Steele Heritage Town, Norbury Lake, Kootenay Trout Hatchery, and Highway 3 from the Ft Steele turnoff into Cranbrook.
Please click here to see exactly where the three-level race will be taking place, with the start set for 9:30 a.m. at St. Eugene Resort.
Please use extreme caution whilst passing the riders.
The popular race is a fundraiser for Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary Club.
