Local courses finalists for PGA of BC Awards
What do St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino, Copper Point Golf Club, Fernie Golf & Country Club, Windermere Valley Golf Course, Greywolf Golf Course, Fairmont Hot Springs Resort and Kimberley Golf & Country Club all have in common?
Besides being beautiful golf courses in the East Kootenay they are all up for 2018 PGA of British Columbia awards.
The courses are regional recipients in 11 categories of the 2018 PGA of BC Awards.
Each of the regional award recipients are now provincial finalists for this year’s PGA of BC Awards, with the winners to be announced next month. Eligible provincial award winners will also be put forward as the PGA of BC’s nominee for corresponding PGA of Canada national awards, if applicable.
This year, in alignment with the PGA of Canada’s National Awards Program, the PGA of BC has introduced the Executive Professional of the Year Award. Similar to several other PGA of BC awards, this newly created accolade will be named in honour of an esteemed Golf Professional from British Columbia’s past who exemplified the award’s criteria during their career. The award’s namesake will be announced in the weeks ahead.
