Meet your candidates – Justin Hooles, Independent
B.C. Election 2017 – Columbia River-Revelstoke
Paula Gordon and Bill Russell of ‘Berley Times, and e-KNOW editor Ian Cobb, recently sat down with four of the Columbia River-Revelstoke riding candidates and provided them with an opportunity to showcase themselves as candidates and their parties or platforms.
City of Kimberley Mayor Don McCormick provides an introduction, noting disinterest and apathy among some voters and a plea with voters to become engaged.
“This is an extremely important election for Kimberley, for the region and for the province,” he notes.
All politics is local. The character of the candidate is crucial. We’ve provided the opportunity to meet the people who want to represent your interests in Victoria. You’re the judge.
Note: Apologies to independent candidate Duncan MacLeod and Libertarian Rylan Kashuba who were announced as candidates after arrangements to film the video sessions in Kimberley on time.
Thanks to ‘Berley Times’ Bill Russell for his camera wizardry and Paula Gordon for engaging the candidates; and to Mayor McCormick for his introduction.
Please get out and vote May 9, or take advantage of advance polls.
