MP Morrison ready to get back to work

Rob Morrison, the Conservative Party of Canada candidate for Columbia- Kootenay-Southern Rockies, has officially been elected Member of Parliament following a decisive win in the April 28 federal election.

With strong support from across the riding, Rob Morrison will represent the constituents of Columbia-Kootenay-Southern Rockies in Ottawa with a clear mandate for change, accountability, and responsible leadership.

“I’m honoured and humbled by the trust the people of Columbia-Kootenay-Southern Rockies have placed in me,” said Morrison on election night. “Canadians are looking for common-sense leadership that puts the cost of living, economic growth, and community safety first—and that’s exactly what I will fight for every day in Parliament.”

An incumbent MP, Morrison ran on the continued platform focused on affordability, job creation, lower taxes, and restoring fiscal responsibility in government. Throughout the campaign, he emphasized the need for pragmatic solutions to address rising inflation, housing challenges, and concerns about public safety.

“I want to thank my incredible campaign team, volunteers, and most importantly, the voters who made their voices heard,” he added. “Now, it’s time to get to work and deliver results.”

Rob Morrison will join the Conservative caucus in Parliament and will begin meeting with constituents, local leaders, and stakeholders in the coming weeks to ensure that the priorities of Columbia-Kootenay-Southern Rockies are front and centre in Ottawa.
