MP thanks hard work of conservation volunteers
Rob Morrison, Member of Parliament for Kootenay-Columbia, rose in the House of Commons on Tuesday, April 26, to thank the many volunteers in our area for their contributions and highlighted the volunteer conservation work of the hunting and angling community.
“This week, we are celebrating National Volunteer Week in Canada,” said Morrison. “My thanks to all volunteers, throughout Kootenay-Columbia, for your work towards the betterment of our communities. Today, I rose in the House of Commons to acknowledge your efforts and highlight the many conservationists – hunters and anglers – who volunteer their time to preserve these Heritage sports and who create opportunity for our outdoor way of life.”
MP Morrison is a Member of Parliamentary Outdoor Caucus and the Conservative Hunting and Angling Caucus, whose work is to ensure the preservation of the Canadian heritage sports of fishing, trapping and hunting.
