Nip & Tuck Gold Mine appearing on Discovery Channel
Fans of Discovery Channel’s Gold Rush Freddy Dodge’s Mine Rescue might have noticed the stars of the show, Juan Ibarra and Freddy Dodge’s trucks parked in the Cranbrook Best Western parking lot last September 15 (2021).
The TV show came to Cranbrook to shoot an episode in Fort Steele at the Nip & Tuck Gold Mine owned by Stephan Lathem.
The premise of the show is for the expert miners, Freddy and Juan, to help the gold mine to be more productive. The episode will feature Stephan and mine helper James Deraspe while they work with Freddy and Juan at Nip & Tuck.
Stephen and James also own ‘Pan in a Can Paydirt,’ which is where they sell all the gold that they mine and are pleased their local business will be shown on the show to the world.
The show is expected to air on Discovery+ on May 13 and on television May 23.
You can visit the Nip & Tuck gold mine in the summer by contacting Stephen or James.
