Officer positions available for 2017 season
Inspector positions for the 2017 season of the Invasive Mussel Defense Program have now been posted on the BC Government job site.
These positions form B.C.’s Invasive Mussel Defence Program, with the aim to intercept watercraft carrying invasive zebra and quagga mussels from entering the province. A central component of the job is to conduct mandatory roadside boat inspections and to liaise with, survey, and deliver outreach materials to the public.
Local locations for these jobs are in Cranbrook, Invermere and Golden, as well as in Nelson, Dawson Creek, Penticton, Chilliwack and Valemount.
