Peavine area fire under control
BC Wildfire ServiceĀ this morning reports the wildfire in the Peavine Creek drainage southwest of Cranbrook is under control.
The fire discovered Sept. 5 was located about one km east of Hidden Valley Road and 1.2 km south of Pyatts Lake.
Believed to be person-caused, the fire reached an estimated .06 ha.
