Recall issued for Sunrise Farms brand turkey
Health Canada has issued a health alert and recall for Sunrise Grade A Fresh Turkey with giblets (five to eight kg) with a ‘best before of October 11 due to possible spoilage.
The government recall follows an earlier recall issued by retailers including Safeway, Sobeys, IGA, Thrifty Foods and FreshCo.
Customers are advised to return this product to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
The recall is in place for the four western provinces (Alberta, B.C., Manitoba and Saskatchewan).
