Registration for Gran Fondo closes Sept. 3
The eighth annual Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo, organized by the Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary Club, is ready to roll September 9.
Registration is still open the world class, fun and friendly cycling challenge for all ages and abilities. However, registration closes on Sunday, September 3 at 11:59 p.m.
Experience jaw dropping scenery at the foot of the Canadian Rockies while crossing three spectacular rivers.
Remember, all funds raised help support the many local projects of the Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary Club and its partner volunteer groups.
The North Star Cranbrook – Kimberley Rails to Trails Society is a recipient of a portion of the event proceeds. Other funds raised through the event will be used to support community projects in the area.
The race begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9 at St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino.
