The deadline to provide comments on the Regional District of East Kootenay’s (RDEK) Draft Climate Action Plan is Monday, December 2 at noon.

The Climate Action Plan is organized into six climate action areas, each with objectives and actions. Objectives have been designated either as corporate, focusing only on RDEK operations; or community, focusing on broader community outcomes.

At the back of the Draft Plan, there is a table that lays out all the objectives and actions in one easy-to-see place.

Hard copies of the Draft Plan and comment form are available on request for anyone without access to a computer or unable to provide input digitally.
