The Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo (KRGF) is heading to a milestone – the 10^th annual fundraising event on Sept. 13.

And organizers say anyone thinking about participating in one of the three rides (58 km, 102 km or 152 km) should think fast as the maximum of 500 riders is filling up.

“The ride season is just around the corner, and you won’t want to miss out on this incredible opportunity to be part of something special. But act fast—spots for the 10th anniversary ride are filling up quickly, with many others are already gearing up for an epic ride season. Don’t wait, sign up now and join the ride,” the KRGF Volunteer Committee noted.

New to the event this year is a new fundraising target – the Cranbrook/Kimberley Hospice Society’s Hospice House project, which will benefit from some proceeds raised.

This standalone six-bed hospice house will provide dedicated hospice care, ensuring comfort and support for patients and their families in the Cranbrook/Kimberley region.

Funds raised by the KRGF will help this project come to fruition over the next several years.
