Seven locals make PGA of BC top 100

The PGA of BC recently recognized its 2024 Career & Professional Development Top 100, as determined by the Association’s Career & Professional Development Program (PDP) points race.

Seven of those golf professionals live and work in the East Kootenay, representing just two local courses – Copper Point Golf Course near Invermere, St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino near Cranbrook and Purcell Golf at Kimberley.

From Copper Point Golf Course: Brian Schaal, Scott McClain, Dale Moore.

From St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino: Cindy Soukoroff, Mike Pearson, Ryan Chernuska.

From Purcell Golf: Simon Jones.

The PDP points race acknowledges PGA of BC Professionals who make outstanding contributions to the Association, their communities, the province’s golf industry and, most importantly, themselves. The PDP provides an avenue to showcase and reward the diverse strengths of PGA of BC Professionals by crediting their participation in continuing education, the Association’s annual Trade Show, and various forms of volunteerism.
