Snow flurries likely in Kootenay Pass today
If you’re heading over Kootenay Pass today, take note.
Environment Canada this morning is warning about potential for flurries over high elevation mountain passes, including Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass.
“A Pacific frontal system will move across B.C. today. Meanwhile, snow levels will remain at or below mountain pass levels in southern B.C. today. Snowfall accumulations are possible but will vary depending on the location,” Environment Canada stated.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Road conditions are available at drivebc.ca.
