The man who has helmed the Columbia Basin Trust (The Trust) for 11 years has died suddenly.

“It is with heavy hearts that the family of Neil Muth, his loving wife Cathy, and his three children John (wife Angela), Emily (fiancé Paul) and Hilary, in conjunction with the Columbia Basin Trust, announce his sudden passing. He will be remembered first and foremost as a loving husband and father,” said a statement issued by The Trust this evening.

Neil Muth, pictured third from left with his family, has served as President and CEO of the Columbia Basin Trust since 2005.

The Trust will make a full statement early next week.
