Letter to the Editor

I know Robin Goldsbury and she is an amazing person, personally and professionally, besides being a business owner and local Kootenay resident that knows that we need a voice in Ottawa.

I understand some people don’t like the banner under Liberal and that too is astounding to me when they did so much for Canada during this pandemic.

This area has been left a vast hollow area with no recognition, no funds from the federal government. Ask why because our MP sits on opposite sides of the aisle for six years. We need to be heard. He has been more worried about sitting on national committees than what’s going on in the Kootenay.  Helping people in a vacation home from… Mexico? Is that the claim to fame?

Robin is in direct contact with the party being the riding association president as well her voice has been heard in Ottawa! Like the new ferry on the Kooteny Lake? Thank her and the hard work that was done.

I will be voting Liberal this election because I want someone local, I want someone who knows what small business needs in the Kootenay because she has lived here 30 years, because she cares about what happens to our water, trees, climate, jobs… there is a whole array of positive that she brings to the table!

This is why Robin has my vote!
